On of the greatest advantages of rotational molding is the inexpensive cost of tooling. It is much lower than an injection molding tool and considerably less than tools used in the blow molding process.

We use a variety of tool types, however, cast aluminum or fabricated sheet metal of aluminum (or mild steel) are the most common. This basically simple approach to tooling allows  maximum flexibility, no matter how complex the design.
